I now finally have a copy of "The Crate" in my King collection. It's not the first hardback release of "The Crate" (that was the Arbor House Treasury of Horror and the Supernatural, 1980). It's an abridged version of the second hardback release: Great Tales of Horror & the Supernatural, 1981. King did the introduction. This abridged version was released in 1985. So excited to finally have a copy of this story.

Went to a convention last weekend and found a couple of dvd's.
Kings Dollar Babies which compiles a bunch of these including Darabonts Woman in the Room. yay!
Stephen King-This is Horror-a two disc set with a massive menu listing that I haven't even started to decipher yet.

Today the mailman delivered PS Publishing's limited edition of Thinner. I also had to renew my Cemetary Dance magazine subscription (which unbeknownst to me expired- they usually send out an email to let you know it's almost expired, but I never got one this time) in order to get issue #72 which has King's short story Summer Thunder in.

I ordered Dark Screams Vol. 1 for my Kindle. It has the text of the story 'Weeds' by King. It was on sale for .99 cents and I had a .73 cent book credit. It's a win-win.

I always liked the story "Weeds" ever since I read it in Cavalier. It's much darker than the remake in Creepshow.
