The Darkside of the Moon (England really)
It's from a Buick 8 though gotta to finish 11.22.63 first and I'm a slow reader probably about half way through .
If it wasn't for SK my reacing would be restricted to Herges Adventures of Tintin .
I will just keep plodding on through it .
Welcome to the boards, you don't want to rush a masterpiece like 11/22/63 anyway, devour it slowly, it's the second best book I've ever read.

My latest (purchase is the wrong word) - a small unit has opened in my local shopping centre called the big little library, people donate their unwanted books and everything in there is free to anyone. My mum went in and mentioned that I read Stephen King and the woman working there said someone came in a few days ago and took a load of King books. There were a few left though so she got me these to replace my paperbacks.

The dark half and the tommyknockers. I'm going to give them my paperbacks so someone gets to enjoy them.

I went in a bit later and got these also.

The exorcist, Stephen fry - moab is my washpot, Dean Koontz - breathless, R.D Wingfield - night frost, James herbert - creed and moon.

Oh bummer! (to the vase)
I know!! I was struggling to open the car door, had my hand under the bag, and had that sudden thought that it didn't feel quite right (always trust your first instincts!!!) and then...shatter. I kicked the glass out of the way, backed up, parked in another spot and went back to pick up all the glass. Lucky I didn't cut up my hands!

I'll say! That could have easily turned into a very expensive vase.
