The Skin Trade has some great King stories and also some great ones by Dan Simmons!!!!Bought a first edition hardcover of Hearts In Atlantis (good/very good condition) for $4.98, a hardcover BCE of Black House (fair/good condition) for $4.10, and paperbacks of Bare Bones and The Skin Trade (good condition) for $3.99 each.
I haven't read any Simmons before-I'm excited! Last year I bought a hardcover of Boy's Life by McCammon from the library's used book sale I still haven't read. I haven't read any of his work either! The Skin Trade has some great King stories and also some great ones by Dan Simmons!!!!
Will be interested to hear what you think of it. I've been putting off the reread of the ARC to see if there are still errors from the first draft version as the ending is such a nasty piece of work. Have to do so soon, though, as the window to catch errors is slipping away. If you see any while you're reading, feel free to send me a PM and I can pass them along.

You should enjoy her novels. She's a fav of mine (and not because she's married to you-know-who!). I love her Nodd's Ridge books (her version of Steve's Castle Rock, although there's really nothing supernatural going on there). Pearl is my favorite. I so wish she would (could??) publish the book Steve has in his list at the end of On Writing.......Hard-covers of Tabitha's Small World, Pearl, One on One, Book of Reuben, and Survivor from Amazon -- $25 altogether. They range in condition from "good" to "like new" so I'm pretty excited! I also have Caretakers on the way -- I ordered it a few days ago. I already have The Trap and Candles Burning so I think I'll have 'em all!
*happy dance*

You could always send me a copy and I'll check it for errors......just sayin'.Will do. I don't usually catch any of the smaller errors on my first read, however.

I've read The Trap and really enjoyed it. My plan is to start with Small World and read her books in chronological order so I can catch the little connections. You should enjoy her novels.
