Great pic. The later versions that were chambered for 5.56 were rolled out with better control of recoil in mind. I've never been in the Russian military but the AK in the video sure looks like some variant. I've shot a basic model AK47 many times and on full auto it definitely jumps on you. Even leaning into it it's tough to keep the barrel from jumping due to just the sheer recoil of thirty 7.62 rounds going down range that fast, going to produce some recoil. On the same note, the M-16 on full auto spits the rounds out at such a high rate of speed, the cyclic rate of the M-16 is quite a bit higher than the AK, but a smaller round coming out faster has the dame effect. You end up shooting at birds in the sky..lol. Whoever the operator in the video is, he definitely knows his business, but that ain't no standard issue AK, I'd bet a fifth of Glenlivet on it....we are on the same wavelength then my friend...I thought there was some modification and round differences...
