Ain't they cute? I think they just finished off a can of tuna right before this was taken. 'Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr....'
Is that thing with the gun and the rose a mouse pad? - nice haul there kingricefan! :smile-new:

Fantastic! (to both pics/bits of news)

This is kind of funny--I'm sitting with my laptop on my bed now and my two cats are also up here with me... (it's too cool outside) now, they will never share the same room let alone bed if they can help it, my older cat hates the younger one.
When the older guy just jumped up here a short while ago... he sat staring and growling at my girl, until I patted him a few times, then he settled down and now they're both sleeping. Cats... sheesh! :biggrin2:
Mine ignore each other (at least while I'm here, who knows what they get up to when I'm gone???) and they are both females- I was told that female cats are like this.

How old is Evan? I do not think you are full of complaints - it sounds like a very mixed up situation with lack of information and then apparently changing their minds once you go to the trouble of showing up with food (food you probably made yourself!) - not to mention a bunch of disappointed kids as well :apologetic::no_pig:
Hi Neesy! Evan is 12. The kids all were disappointed. They move on to big jr high school next year, and some of Evan's friends will be at one and he at the other one. Plus all the new distractions and opportunities, like sports and choosing different classes that come along with it. (Of course, that means new friends too, hopefully!) So they were disappointed, and we weren't the only upset parents. They deserved to have a little fuss thrown over them I think. :love_heart:

Just one of those rite of passage things! I wanted to be there. :)

love the quilt. story behind it please?

my cats struggle being on the bed at the same time too. Usually one of them gets so pissed, there is a leap on a back with a hiss involved and then a chase.

Hi there!

So I have gone and lost the plastic "key" and instructions for our Black and Decker lawn mower. I put the battery in the basement and left the lawnmower in the shed over the winter. Andy is up North and has no idea where it is.

I saw a sign on the way home from work saying "We cut lawns" with a phone number. I called and he is coming over to do the back and front lawns. He says it normally costs around 40 depending on the size of the lawn.

I wonder how I can get a replacement key for this mower? We bought it at Canadian Tire last summer and it has only be used a few times.

Hope all are having a good Saturday !!

This looks just my old dog Charlie! (sorry to go off topic but I was looking for healthy lawn tips and ran across this).

The guy who is coming is using an electric mower so I hope he has a nice long extension cord. His name is "Willy"

Oooh - you so dirty!

He brought his wife Patricia who sat in the van out front and played with her phone. I spoke to both of them and they are very nice - he is coming back next Friday to do the grass again (tentatively - says he will call).

I have not read "The Lawnmower Man" yet - is it any good?

I wish I could say that the quilt is an old family heirloom handed down thru the centuries after being hand made by Queen Victoria, but I cannot tell a lie (and that's a lie!). It's one that I bought about 15 years ago when I worked at Macy's. Got it for about $20 (after all the discounts, etc.) if I remember correctly, too! It keeps me warmwarmwarm in the winter as it's a nice thick one (that's what she said!)! Loves me quilts!
