I'll leave you alone about the bugs and other slimy shyte!
Meanie.I live in the Poconos of Pennsylvania. Deer bring no thoughts of compassion, just visions of car repair bills. We don’t say “have you ever hit a deer,” but rather "how many deer have you hit.” Counted 4 lying on the side of the road into work this morning. Late evenings and night time now have become a game of run and swerve with them.
We hosted a German exchange student this year. One morning on the drive to school we had a herd of deer running alongside the car and after a little had to slam on the breaks when they decided to cross the road right in front of us. We slightly clipped one in the rump but it kept on running after a little tumble. The exchange student said she couldn’t wait to skype home later to tell them we hit a deer. And later on the trip to school there was a flock of about 20 turkeys in a field next to us, with some males displaying for the females. She had never seen a turkey in real life or ever eaten it. I said we’re going out for dinner tonight and it looks like turkey is on the menu. She later said it tasted like chicken.Meanie.
I think I just blacked out for a moment.
This looks like pretty good eatin' - and think of the lovely sporran you could make with the fur!
Don't knock Akutaq 'till you try it.

Right term, wrong picture. Whipped seal fat mixed with berries and sugar. Yummmm.Eskimo Ice Cream?
This looks good - I could eat this!
Though about it, and I did have my SUV. But then we would have been late for school and my kid would have had a conniption 'cause she had a test first class. You should have just driven out in the field and taken out a few and then had those for dinner. Think of the Skype home she could have had then........
Come visit us sometime. Bring an appetite!Who ARE you people?!

TRUE THAT! Honorary Grizzly Adams. You could have brought a few in for the lunch lady to dress up. After hearing about your school lunches last week you would have been a shoe in for best DAD in this year's yearbook.
I’ve had a number of odd and exotic dishes in my travels, including meats such as bear, alligator, crickets, antelope, buffalo, slugs, wild boar, deer, rattle snake, octopus, live oysters and many kinds of fish. But the two foods that I really didn’t enjoy were Vegemite and Poi.
I was once charged by a Buffalo and sent flying about 10 feet. Eating them is considered payback in my books.
Do you happen to look like Tarzan? Or smell like him?We hosted a German exchange student this year.
