Stay safe, morgan . Keep alert to all weather reports. Good luck with insurance.Hail storm this morning around 4 a.m. Pea size hail can be very destructive with gale-force winds!! Basement flooded again. More insurance stuff on Monday...
Stay hydrated.Hot as blazes--102F right now, and that's down a degree from the high point today.
Yep. It's not bad inside. My silly Shepherd keeps wanting to go out in the backyard, though. It seems too hot for fur people out there! I keep going out to check on her and see if she wants to come inside, but she's content laying in the shade on the east side of the house. I think I'll set up camp on the back deck (covered) and see if I can entice her to come up and sit with me--then she'll come in with me in a little while when it's time to start dinner (just chef salads tonight--too hot for anything else!). I'm tricksy!Stay hydrated.
Make sure there is cold water available for her and watch for any panting. She might be liking the coolness of the ground. My Mack, blk akita, loved to sun bathe. Pure crazy in Fl heat.Yep. Be safe, StaroHoly Crap we have another big ass tornado in central Alberta ripping around. Two in two days. WTF
The insurance company my son works for had to send out adjusters for this one. He (Sean) is still up in Fort McMurray dealing with those claims from the giant fire.Tornado near Ponoka, Alberta. We have been getting storms all week.
