Meant to respond to this yesterday. Yes, I "got it"! LOLAbsolutely shocked about what Arya pulled off(get it?). You would have thought you'd have seen it coming, but it was an absolute surprise to all of us. Outstanding conclusion to a magnificent season. Going to be a long wait.......
Maybe they will be extra loooong episodes! Don't be greedy!Don't be whoot whoot anything here......your owl have a cold?

Meant to respond to this yesterday. Yes, I "got it"! LOLAt first I thought he was going crazy (er) and that it would reveal that the hall was full of people instead of empty as it appeared, since she kept saying "they are right here!" It was gross, but I laughed out loud anyway! Take that Walder!
Did you disturb the dog again? It was so awesome, we all cheered..............

The end of Game of Thrones is in sight -- probably.
Show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss recently told Deadline that they need approximately 13 episodes to end the series. "It's two more seasons we're talking about. From pretty close to the beginning, we talked about doing this in 70-75 hours, and that's what we'll end up with. Call it 73 for now," Benioff said.
The quote falls in line with what Benioff and Weiss told Variety in April. They're planning two shorter final seasons for the HBO epic with seven episodes in Season 7 and six episodes to wrap everything up. While HBO renewed Game of Thrones through Season 8 earlier this year, the network told TVGuide.com Tuesday that it has not confirmed whether Season 8 will be the final season or how many episodes have been ordered.
Benioff and Weiss are confident the show is winding down though, according to the Deadline article. "We're trying to tell one cohesive story with a beginning, middle and end. As [Weiss] said, we've known the end for quite some time and we're hurtling towards it," Benioff continued.

That's kinda sad. It just hit me. What if some TV network had done a show on DT and finished it before Sai King had completed his last few books!George RR Martin stated in an interview that the books may not follow the TV series......

Nope. I would have plugged up my ears and yelled "Lalalalala!" when they tried to tell me!Did you guys catch the part in the article Spidey posted about them knowing the end for quite some time? Imagine walking around with that secret?
Yes, but I took that as how they wanted it to end, not necessarily how Martin wants it to end.Did you guys catch the part in the article Spidey posted about them knowing the end for quite some time? Imagine walking around with that secret?

It will be weird to read the next book, if it is wildly different, if we already have one ending in our heads. It seems a lot worse to me somehow, than having read a book and then a movie comes along and changes it. It will be strange!
Oh jeez. I totally missed that! I have been up since 2 am...I need a nap already.I hope not! Here's the quote from Spidey's link.
"The two versions of the story have branched away from one another, both working toward the ending Martin revealed to David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, yet taking very different paths to get there. "
Seems like they should end up in the same place. But who really knows until 2018!
