I think it's called "Disappearance At Devil's Rock". That's his newest one as far as I know.May I ask what made you buy the recent book then? Based on HFOG, I sure wouldn't!
Yes, I knew that, but thanks! I looked it up on Amazon the other day when this discussion started.I think it's called "Disappearance At Devil's Rock". That's his newest one as far as I know.
A summary I read intrigued me, I did not buy, borrowed it from the library. I have an extensive list of authors whose works I will spend my gift cards on, Mr. Tremblay is not on it.May I ask what made you buy the recent book then? Based on HFOG, I sure wouldn't!
Ah, the library. Got it! Thanks.A summary I read intrigued me, I did not buy, borrowed it from the library. I have an extensive list of authors whose works I will spend my gift cards on, Mr. Tremblay is not on it.
Sorry, I misread that post. Thought you were asking the name of the most recent book. Cry your pardon sir.I think it's called "Disappearance At Devil's Rock". That's his newest one as far as I know.

There's no accounting for taste.I'm halfway through Head Full of Ghosts and its getting better and better. I wish I was a faster reader because I'm dying to know how it ends. I'm guessing there will be a twist of some kind but I can't imagine what it might be.

Thank goodness, because I absolutely detest being tickled!lol... Be glad there are thousands of miles between New York and Texas. I can't tickle you to death from here
This should be attributed to Hannibal Lecter......There's no accounting for taste.
Wot the bloody L???
So was it Merry all along who was possessed? Is that why it was freezing in the coffee shop during Merry's final interview with Rachel? There were no clues I didn't catch any clues anyways. There are supposed to be clues dangit!
Who knows what the hell the ending is. I don't even think the author does. It's one of the reasons I dislike this book. It's just a bunch of scenarios the author thought were "scary" and "cool" strung together with no story line. Revisiting this book has made me angry all over again that I wasted time reading it! lol
I should have listened to you lol
In all seriousness, I did start out wanting to like the book and I did like a few scenes, but when it was over I realized it just did not pack a wallop and it was a letdown from what it could have become. I went back and forth for the first half of the book liking it/not liking it, but by the second half my dislike of it steadily grew.
Everything in your spoiler is EXACTLY what I felt!!!I didn't like the book much, either, and I'm so glad to find out I wasn't the only oneleft wondering at the supposed "twist" ending. Like, ok, Merry was the one with the ghosts in her head, but the sister was faking it and playing along...??? I didn't really get it, and I didn't find it scary. I hated all the characters, so I wasn't upset in the least when Merry killed them all. The reality show thing wasn't believable to me at all, and got on my nerves. The blog posts were just grating to read. Rabble rabble, rabble; I didn't like it. The ending left me craving spaghetti, though.
