Just a note to those who are not familiar with this "book." It's only about 30 pages long. It's really a short story. The Yellow Wallpaper ebook is free today. If I remember right, SK loved this short story?

Exactly. And it's the type of story that just gets creepier with age. Out of nowhere something will remind you of it and it will stick with you for the rest of the day.I read The Yellow Wallpaper last night and you're right about it being frightening on many levels. I didn't know it was written in 1892 when I read it and I thought it was scary. Then when I found out it was written in 1892, it took on a whole new scary.
so i changed my mind, because i've been hitting up walmart a lot this week for supplies because i'm trying to organize a lot of stuff, and this book has been staring me in the face every time i go, finally said screw it and bought it: MatchUp | Book by Lee Child, Sandra Brown, C. love the concept, and am excited about seeing several of the characters i know so well from different "worlds" interacting. still anticipating revival too, but that's next, and i'll probably have both read within the week anyway.
Thanks for the tip! I just downloaded it I also downloaded The Girl With All the Gifts since so many of y'all like it
I've been on a Cozy Mysteries kick and I think I've read all the good ones so I needed some suggestions. I wish SK wrote faster
I found a cozy mystery series I really like - The Miss Fortune Series by Jana DeLeon. The stories take place in a small town in Louisiana. There's a bit of humor, I like the characters, there isn't a lot of romance, and the mysteries are pretty good. The first book in the series is titled Louisiana Longshot and the digital version is free so it's worth a try

I am in the middle of it now. It's probably the fifth or so time reading it and it still holds up; even with knowing how it plays out.
I loved Louisiana Longshot!! I'll have to look for the rest of the series! Thanks!
That would be great! Might be just what I need to get myself out of the funk I'm in over DT.I have the rest of the series on kindle and I think the books can be loaned one time for 14 days. If you wish to PM me the addy you use for your kindle (or whatever device), I would be glad to loan them to you
