Today is my 10th and last wedding anniversary. I thought I would be an absolute mess, but it's going to be ok. I'm talking to a lawyer this afternoon, and then my parents are taking me out to a nice dinner. I'm going to get dressed up and toast the future.

It's been kinda weird at work too - lots of people calling in sick and making it tricky to get all the areas of the hospital covered;
I'm watching The Courtship of Eddy's Father from 1963 with Ron Howard as the boy, Glenn Ford, Shirley Jones and Jerry Van Dyke
It's a bit over dramatic at the moment but is also a comedy
Have to do a short 5 1/2 hour shift tonight from 4:30 to 10 then working this weekend on day shift

I agree. I lived up north until 6th grade and school was the Tuesday after until Labor Day thru the Friday before Memorial Day - depending on snow days. I think a couple of times we actually had Saturday school a couple of weekends for snow days so it didn't encroach on Summer vacation.
