Right now I'm getting my youngest packed for a camping trip. All the 5th grade classes in town go, it is kind of a rite of passage in our town.

3 days, 2 nights. There will be campfires and fun and learning, too, they mold the different lessons around science.

I am having a hard time this time, getting him ready to go. He is my baby. Last one I will be sending off to do this. :apologetic:

He is looking forward to it, of course. I'm sure he'll be fine, just a little sad and scared about him being gone the next 3 days.

I hope the entire class has a blast!...is it weird that I'm jealous I don't get to go? That sounds like fun!

Camping - I used to love that - so if it's a grade five class then they must be around 10 or so?

Maybe Andy will decide to get an RV once we are retired - we can join the True Knot :joyous:
