Monkey Meat!

:facepalm_smiley: Thanks

This was a very....veeeeery Lazy Saturday again.

Got up at 9 a.m, looked outside and it was Raining again.
Had Breakfest with Buns and scrambled Eggs and Vanilla Milk.

Read a bit, played UT for two Hours, did some Crossword Puzzles,
and watched a Sports Show about Soccer.

I ordered a Pizza for Dinner (had a short debate with Kermit, he wanted a Tuna with Onions,
i wanted a Salami with pepperoni).

Was a very Relaxed Saturday

Took SwiftMom to the cemetery today to visit SwiftDad's grave.

Stopped at the Super Walmart on the way home. We heard U2's Beautiful Day on their PA system. Heard that song at least 5 times the day SwiftDad passed.

Took Brody Dog for a walk.

Going to dinner with my family in honor of SwiftDad. He would have been 72 today :(

Maybe not this bad but I know Josh's current GF is a big fan
Oh! :biggrin2:

Got back just a bit ago. I did not have to make that face even once! ;-D She tried on some beautiful gowns. Oh my gosh. So beautiful. She had 3 favorites out of the ones she tried on.

It was fun. The ladies at the shop were so nice and helpful. Was a nice outing. :encouragement:

Beautiful Day is such an amazing song. Sorry it was a rough day, but I'm glad you guys decided to have dinner in his honor. I hope that was helpful, sometimes that kind of thing is very healing. I hope that the smiles and reminiscing about the good times are stronger than any lingering pangs of sadness.

We lost a relative we weren't particularly "close" to (they lived quite a ways away), but I have so many memories of this person from my childhood telling us kids rather tall stories in a typical "gather round and I shall tell you a tale" fashion. Picture a big, jolly Grandpa-type that didn't hesitate to put an adult in their place but would tear someone up if they harmed a kid.

The List for the next 2 days includes yardwork, cleaning, washing dogs, vacuuming, hemming curtains and all kinds of fun stuff.
What will probably actually happen in the next two days includes eating Vanilla Wafers and watching you tube :/

Most mornings the only thing that gets me to drag my carcass out of bed is a promise (or a lie) of a nap later on!
Friday I got done early (yeah!!) and retreated to my room to watch TV. 5 minutes later I was snoring. 2 hours later I woke up with a cat on my head, a dog on my feet, and a cat on either side of me. I wriggled out of bed and no one else moved and the space I was in was probably about 4 square inches. Bed hogs. :chargrined:
