I remember the Eerie/Creepy comics from the 70s and early 80s, and always though they were pretty great. I think "Tales from the Crypt" were long-gone by then, though I lived in a small town and only saw bigger inventories when we'd shop in Wichita Falls or Fort Worth...
Wonder if anyone is publishing a regular monthly or quarterly anthology of similar stuff these days? I've recently been seeing the old Heavy Metal branded sci-fi issues in a nearby truck stop and picked a couple up. Not only am I surprised to see that old horse still around (and these are shiny, brand-new, just-published-and-printed issues!), but I've been very surprised at the quality of art and storytelling available there.
Wish there was a horror/suspense anthology in comic form out there--I'd buy it!
