Yes, it is! My daughter got it for me for Christmas-she knows me so wellGuns, Germs and Steel is excellent!! Assuming it is the Jared Diamond book?
Haha! Very good. I have read it before but was such a long time ago. I always feel so sad for poor Cujo...I like dogs better than I like people!Brace yourself. That's a ruff book.
Just finished 'A Tale Of Two Cities' by Dickens and am currently reading 'Titus Groan' by Peake.
I've been on a Dickens jag for several months now and have fallen in love with my new 'discovery'. I hope to read his entire canon by years end. So far it's been Pickwick Papers, Oliver Twist, David Copperfield, Our Mutual Fried, Great Expectations, and Tale of Two Cities. There is a lot more to muscle through but I am looking forward to it. I find his art of character development reminds me of King. Also, his sense of humour is great! One of my favourite books ever was Great Expectations but have to admit it was the only Charles Dickens book I ever read. Started Bleak House once but couldn't get to grips with it.

How to Stop Time is one I'm looking forward to reading. Glad to hear you liked it!I finished How To Stop Time by Matt Haig yesterday, amazing book. I started Fellside by M.R. Carey right after that...
Thank you. I love book clubs like this.I saw on the news tonight that PBS and The New York Times have started a book club called Now Read This. They choose a book every month and ask everyone to read it and discuss it on their facebook page. The authors will be joining the discussions. The first book is Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jesmyn Ward (I've had this one on my radar). Anyway, I just thought I'd share that in case any of you want to read along. Sounds interesting.
