The College Football season is over. Ended Monday night. I think the National Championship game was wildly entertaining even though I was a bit pessimistic as Alabama faced a 13 point deficit twice throughout the game. I wasn't sure they could come back. I thought the Tide was doomed until Nick Saban pulled his 25-2 starting quarterback after halftime for a freshman that had never started a college game before.

But it worked and Nick Saban earned his 6th title tying Bear Bryant. I do hope Nick doesn't consider retirement any time soon.

Latest rumors are he might consider the NFL Giants coaching position.

I've often thought it would be really cool if Nick ever did find redemption in the pros, but that would leave my favorite college team without their anchor. Personally, I think he'll stay at Alabama until he retires because he knows he has a home there and secretly wants championship no. 7.

Well, duh!

The Jets will pick up Josh Rosen in the draft, but he won’t be ready and they’ll resign Josh McCown to a cheap deal and let Bryce Petty go. The defensive line will stink as bad as the cornerback position. They need a new center and will probably go with a rookie. Matt Forte will be let go and they’ll need to pick one up in the draft.

So it will be a rebuilding year once again... for like the 40th year in a row.

Even with all the bad news I say they improve and go from 5-11 to 7-9 in 2018. Woo Hoo!

And, oh, yeah... GIANTSSUCKALSO.

"Will you walk into my parlour?” said the Spider to the Fly,
'Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy;
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I've a many curious things to show when you are there.”

So I guess that means the Dolphins will be signing Bryce Petty. ;-D
