I liked Cheers better. Frasier was a bit more heavy-handed and milked situations to the point of exasperation. IMO.
I actually prefered Fraiser. The differences between Him and his brother and their father cracked me up all the time. Daphne just got funnier. I got a ittle fed up towards the end of Frasier and his relationship anxiety.

Parents, please talk to your teenagers about not driving while distracted, and driving at a safe speed.
This morning while driving my daughter to school, I heard the squeal of brakes, and looked into my rear view mirror just in time to see the teenager driving directly behind me struggling to regain control of the very large Suburban he was driving. At one point, the rear end of his vehicle skidded into the other lane. Thankfully, he did regain control and avoided an accident, but speeding in traffic is not cool and someone could have been hurt.
Judging from the expression on the kid's face, he was in need of some clean underwear.

I'm starting to point those kinds of things out to my 13 year old son as we're driving around since he'll be going for his driving learner's permit here in a year or so. I'm trying to make him start paying attention to all the distracted drivers at an intersection and even while you're doing 70mph on the freeway. My overall strategy is to get him looking at the flow of traffic and increase his situational awareness way before he starts actually driving in order to make him better understand how damn dangerous driving is. Not looking forward to adding him to my auto insurance policy eventually...lol

Dad taught me to drive with his 3 on the tree pick up truck. His instructions were, "keep it between the ditches." ;-D

My biggest thing with freeway driving that I told my kid -- look way ahead. Don't just look at the car directly in front of you. If you see way ahead that cars are braking, be ready.

And, we are not the Blue Angels out there on the road. We have not practiced tight formations with total strangers. When idiots want to pack up, let them. I tell him to back off those groupings of Nascar wannabes.

Glad no one was hurt. Please be safe.

EXACTLY. I've told him to constantly try to stay 3 or 4 mental moves ahead of traffic. Ask yourself what you would do if "X" car did "Y". What would you do? You have to have such a pro-active mentality on the road and I have no idea how to impart that to a young driver. It would be so nice to have a driving simulator you could program with different scenarios at home you could practice with your child and have realistic outcomes to make them think.

There are many apps to help with driving.

Had my bosses come in today and have a difficult discussion with one of my employees. She's been given two options. She can either accept a reassignment (that's not ideal for her) or she's gonna be laid off. This decision has been made over my head and above my pay grade, but it's still rough. She's not too happy with any of us right now, but my regional gave her until Monday to make a decision. I can only hope she makes the decision that's right for her.

It's tough. I hate to see someone lose their job (especially someone I've worked with for most of the last 3 years), but when what they're paying her outweighs what she brings to the table in pure sales profitability in her "specialty", I can see why they made this move.

Does anybody have any experience or work with people who have tried suicide? My co-worker told me today that he tried to commit suicide, and that is why he was at the hospital. I told him thanks for telling me, amd I told him that he whould get through this and is seeing someone. So my plan is to, look up ways I can help him and just to be a regular co-worker around him. I am getting him the info for a pet food food bank. So he does not have to give up his dog and cat
