Anyone had a co-worker die? I had a co-worker die on the weekend she had a massive brain aneurism. It’s been an interesting few days, my tummy hurts as a result.

Was your coworker very old? I always think I have some sort of problem like that every time I get a pain in my head

thanks evey one, no she was like 52. and looked healty. ir not over weight.. she was having really bad headaches for a few days and thought nothing of it, and just thought it whould go away, this was early last week, on friday night she whent into a coma and was rushed to the hospital and was on life support. they gave her i think at least 24-48 hours to show some type of brain improvment but their was none so they let her go. its really sad. but we will get through it. they are bringing in a greif support person today. i plan to go

I have an anxiety disorder, that’s why my tummy hurts and could be to much back pain meds. I fell better today

So a few people are getting gifts for the familly of my co worker who passed, like flowers and teddy bears and stuff. Wondering what whould be a gift they whould appreciate.. or is a card and a nice note better then some stuffed toy or something

A card with a hand written message would be very nice.

....our prison family just had a similar event last week.....a well-liked Lieutenant passed of a sudden heart attack at age 45......big, burly guy-you'd never think such a thing....my heart aches for those he left behind....very tough at the funeral home yesterday.....prayers if you would for his family....

I'm so sorry! That's incredibly sad. I have lost co-workers (and friends and family). It's never easy but especially when it is something so unexpected.

Thank you everyone for your support. Today we had a grief counseller come in and I talked to her privately and also in a small group,session and that helped. We are thinking of putting together a memory box for her familly. It made me fell better. It’s hard when co-workers leave the job and or die. Thanks everyone

...he was massive-like a big black bear....seemed impenetrable to the vagaries of life......god, I just can't wrap my head around it.....the Thin Grey Line is for sure one man short.....
