I did not keep a sleep diary and I'm in the situation that a previous doctor prescribed the drug (then retired) and the current doctor is renewing the RX. The drug is Temazepam and it works because if I forget to take it, I never get sleepy.
Okay - that's a benzodiazapine (I have a prescription for lorazepam) so now I know what you're talking about.

Get the filet mignon!

Today I am going on a one-hour seminar - today's topic is "Healthy Gut"

It starts in an hour and 15 minutes and it's a wee bit of a drive to get there, so I better log off for now.

Oh yeah and I have an appointment for next Monday to get the damage on Andy's truck looked at, so I feel better now. The guy who took a quick look at it at the other place says it's not all that bad (just a minor ding) but still I know Andy wants his truck back to normal, so we'll go for it!

Love and Green Lights to everyone

I read a blurb about this drug and it said it's the same family as Xanax, but stronger. How is that possible? I used to take Xanax for panic attacks and it really cools you out. Haven't has a panic attack since my kids moved out.

I have tried to cut back on it as I read something bad about it (I could make a joke here about my memory, but would rather not).

Because my Dad had a really bad case of Alzheimer's I am concerned it could affect my brain so I try to take it only when I really need it. (There was a lot of junk out there about this type of drug, especially on YouTube).

I say - if you need it and the doc prescribes it, then just use as directed.:okay:

Shoot - must sign off now - time to go pick up my son

I take lorazepam too. It has saved my ass on numerous occasions. I'm quite grateful that it exists but definitely only use as directed.

This drug does a lot a bad things but I would rather get some sleep. I spent a lot of time sleep deprived and there's no upside to that. Brain cells are dying by the thousands anyway, but I still read and do crossword puzzles. Guess it's sort of OK.

So, I came home from work and the neighbors were sledding on the hill beside my house. When they saw my car pull in the driveway, they hurried into their house..... I called them, and they didn't answer the phone so I left what I think is a nice voicemail:

"Hi there, this is Me from next door. I've just been asking all the kids not to sled on the hill beside my house. I just think it's too dangerous. They could easily get out in the street and be hit by a car, or they could go over in the ditch and break an arm. A few years back, my own daughter slammed into the house and hit her head really hard, and had to go to the Emergency room. I know this isn't going to be a popular request, but I sure hope y'all understand. Thanks so much, and have a good evening."

I don't want to be a bad neighbor, and I don't want people upset with me, but I'd rather have them upset than to have one of those children get hurt.
