Great pics everyone!
It wasn't a formal panel discussion but they did answer questions about their work and the creative process and how they became involved with Steve professionally. Gerald told us about how he came to start his store in Bangor. Can someone tell us more about the panel discussion with Bev Vincent, Robin Furth, Gerald Winters and Glenn Chadbourne?
Was there a Q & A? And what fun stuff did you learn?

...if no one gets to it, I will bring up a couple of tidbits later...on road now-taking Tracy to a lighthouse....it was again, her only request....family dinner this evening with our group and then begins the long road home...Can someone tell us more about the panel discussion with Bev Vincent, Robin Furth, Gerald Winters and Glenn Chadbourne?

THanks! Would appreciate it!...if no one gets to it, I will bring up a couple of tidbits later...on road now-taking Tracy to a lighthouse....it was again, her only request....family dinner this evening with our group and then begins the long road home...
I know, I know enquiring minds need to know. Maybe someone else can chime in here as I have some off the Board things I need to do.and those answers were what exactly?.....
Thankee-- hope Tracy enjoys the lighthouse. Safe travel back home....if no one gets to it, I will bring up a couple of tidbits later...on road now-taking Tracy to a lighthouse....it was again, her only request....family dinner this evening with our group and then begins the long road home...
I'm not either. I can take it or leave it. I like the series but I'd rather read non-DT books if given a choice.think this might be Sacrilegious to say, I’m not a Dark Tower fan
I’m not the only one? I figured that would make everybody hate meI'm not either. I can take it or leave it. I like the series but I'd rather read non-DT books if given a choice.
Thanks for the insights, btw.
I enjoyed the series and I have a special spot in my heart for Wolves of the Calla, but the first three, I think, were his best. They have an aura of mystery (like a Dali painting) that doesn't exist in the later books. Don't get me wrong, it was genius how he wrapped it up but I would have preferred he'd written them at his normal pace, even at the risk of not completing them. For me, something was lost in later books.I’m not the only one? I figured that would make everybody hate me
I think I've got it fixed now but if you see anything else you want changed, let me know.Mods can you please edit that. I’ve been spending the past 10 minutes to trying to delete the repeated portions. That happens sometimes and I have no idea why. I’m running out of time on my lunch break
I learned about the low men in UR! I honestly can’t get past book 3 and I’ve tried twice. I sort of have a rule about life being short and if I can’t get into a series by book 3 I should seriously think about putting it down. I’ve just discovered that my car has a CD player. Ive been listening to the books we got on CD in my car. It’s an early 2000s BMW so no Bluetooth. I have an hour commute each way to and from work, so if I can listen to the books this way, I might give it another go. OK I’m pushing right up against being late back from lunch.I enjoyed the series and I have a special spot in my heart for Wolves of the Calla, but the first three, I think, were his best. Yes, the Low Men in yellow coats will be coming for our heads, Nomik.
Thanks and I’m sorry that happened....I think I've got it fixed now but if you see anything else you want changed, let me know.
No problem. It seems to be happening more the past week or so, so it's possible there's a glitch in our software. Thanks and I’m sorry that happened....
It happens when I use my voice dictation here on the board....I’ve noticed it before but it doesn’t happen in other forums. I’m a serial dictator. No problem. It seems to be happening more the past week or so, so it's possible there's a glitch in our software.
I used to listen to audio books on tape on my commute because my Buick didn't have a CD player. The good news was that my library had a big selection of books on cassette, including Stephen King books. Treat yourself to On Writing. Hilarious and entertaining. Duma Key was very well done; so was IT.I learned about the low men in UR! I honestly can’t get past book 3 and I’ve tried twice.
