That takes guts (I actually mean that, some foods can be intimidating), I admire your bravery! :encouragement: Personally I love seafood, but for some reason I'm allergic now, so I had to ban it. But! They now make "fake fish" for vegetarians, and it's heaven! It's not the real deal, but hey, close enough. I can eat fish again.
I've been a vegetarian for almost 21 years. That faux seafood has always freaked me out. Probably because I never liked the real stuff to begin with. :)

I'm glad you found a suitable substitute!

...the group is a “she” you troglodyte...
Yeah… I found that out when the kid got home and I had to make a pizza at midnight because she was DYING OF STARVATION. I was provided with the whole Kesha (I was chastised for pronouncing it with a long e, not a short e) story, and how her voice has matured… blah, blah, blah. I asked her if she has any hits I might know. She told me probably not because she’s not a dinosaur. And $60 for the concert! WHY? Concert prices are out of control. I wouldn’t pay $60 to see Eric Clapton… and I didn’t! Jaysus... I paid $8 for Woodstock and $35 for Live Aid… and they had many numerous great performers on the venues. I understand inflation but the prices these days go way above the inflation excuse.

If you were to pay for Eric Clapton tickets now, they'd probably by $300. Yes, it's sad that they have increased as much as they have. I don't go to many concerts these days.

Never saw any free concerts at the Steel Pier. Who did you see? Heck, back when Rock was good you could attend concerts for very little. For $2 and $3 I saw Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Jethro Tull, AC/DC, Blood Sweat & Tears, Climax Blues Band, Weather Report and others.

I have pretty much stopped going to concerts these days. A local place (huge log cabin) holds concerts and it’s rather small, but some great names play there. And its the only place I go anymore to see concerts. In the last 2 months they've had concerts by Pat Benatar, Canned Heat, 38 Special, Yes, Ted Nugent, and the Happy Together Tour (which included The Turtles, Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, The Association, Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere & The Raiders and The Cowsills). Yes was the most expensive at $50, but they’ve had like a hundred hits. And they have a bar right in the concert hall… which makes the concerts much more pleasurable.

Many related to the American Bandstand Era.-- Everly Brothers, Fabian, Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell, Paul Anka, Bobby Darin.

And at that time a loaf of bread cost 25 cents, gas was under $2/gallon (maybe even under $1), the average price for a new car was $3,500, etc. etc. etc.
