I had several birthday gifts I needed to send. The Grandkids will be happy. Three of them this month,so mailed them all out. Some will be early.I sent out a package today too.

Things seem to be okay. That weird spot on my foot is just from a shoe rub, right?
No frothing drool. Drool is typical Dana Jean drool.
No fevers, chills, swelling, redness -- other than that shoe-rub red spot that I am giving the sneaky side-eye to.
Is it taunting me?

Rabies can't go through unbroken skin. People can get rabies only via a bite from a rabid animal or possibly through scratches, abrasions, open wounds or mucous membranes in contact with saliva or brain tissue from a rabid animal.
In looking it up, people don't always know they have been bit as the teeth are so tiny, the holes seal over, so they have to watch for the other symptoms. I had plenty of time to capture Ima Bat because she laid on my patio looking all rabied up!

I was bit by a bat when I was young. You are right that you can hardly tell as the teeth are so small. Oh the foolishness of youth... thinking a bat would make a good pet. They are very sluggish in the daytime. But if you start acting like me... then it's time to worry.

At last check, I'm still Democrat, and female.
When all that changes, I will know I have truly become infected with rabies and my brain is inflamed and dieased!

Got the urge and took a trip to a DIY center. The old guy came right over to me to help. He was wonderful. Treated me like I was the most important person there.
Republicans are starting to make sense. I’m still female… but we’re all equal.
Thankfully not rabies… but seemingly experiencing enlightenment.
And it’s true… there are no atheists in foxholes.

I live about 70 km from the Narcissus Snake Pits (70 kliks from Winnipeg, MB). Every spring there are thousands and thousands of them all wrapped up in a wriggle ball. They even stop traffic so a mega whackload of snakes can cross the highway for brighter pastures. I was there once and it freaked me out.Doc Creed I know Doc, I am doing the same thing.
