Fresh Bread Aug 29 2018.jpg

Back to my old tricks again now that it has cooled down somewhat. Yesterday I made a loaf that was nice and smooth - Andy said it was delicious -

wait - I meant that I made a loaf on Monday night then he tried it on Tuesday.:encouragement: (He said it was 'awesome') :joyous:

That loaf is almost gone so I made a new one this morning but it turned out sort of bumpy - I also put sesame seeds on this one.

He says if I don't brush the top with melted butter when it comes out of the oven the crust will be crusty rather than soft, so that is what I did.

That is amazing Neesy. Always wished I could make bread, my daughter Sarah does and it floats it is so light. But me I am awful with any recipe using yeast. Don't know why, but I am lousy when it comes to using yeast.

Not thinking about today but feeling lots of guilt about what I did yesterday. Had some errands to run and one of
them was to pick up 2 sun dresses a shop was holding for me. Really nice too and they were on sale and 100% cotton. Before I got out of the store I bought a third one! Guilt has carried over to today. Definitely not something I do but the prices were originally 50% off and another 50% off at the checkout. What started out as just over
$300. was after the discounts about $70. Feelin' guilty :nope:
:hmm:

I am off to get daughter so I can take her to Fee Night at her high school. Why they call it Fee Night when it's 3-6pm, beats me! Now if it were Fee Happy Hour and the parents got drinks afterwards, that might make it a little less painful.;)
My friend and I always have happy hour after fee night at school. We've done it since our girls were in 2nd grade. This year was our last.....for fee night, that is! :biggrin2:

Thank you for asking GNTLGNT ! I didn't know either, but was too afraid to ask. Thought it was something maybe everyone with kids would know. :a11:
...Tracy and I got three through school and we never had any such animal here in Ohio?......is it as simple as it sounds....paying school fees?......for "free" education o'coss.....

morgan and GNTLGNT

it is a night to collect your hard earned money so your child can attend school. Days of free public education are long gone.

As long as you look great and feel great wearing the dresses then you should feel happy! You deserve it (plus that works out to only 100 per dress) - Like you said - you prefer 100% cotton so it was worth it (if you ask me) :love_heart::m_firecrackers:

I took advantage of the back to school sales and did some Christmas shopping for my granddaughter. Bought her all kinds of stuff
to do crafts, she loves doing them. Pencil crayons, markers, glitter crayons, glue, construction paper, all kinds of things.. Also ordered some Barbie evening gowns off eBay. The only thing wrong with shopping early for her, I end up buying more closer to Christmas.
