We went for breakfast this morning while waiting for my Liberty to be repaired - they said the front crank seal was leaking which only costs 29.99 to replace but the labour was over $250 - it was less than expected as they did not need to shampoo the engine.

Then I decided to make an apple upside down cake which turned out pretty good.

Tonight is a big sit-down dinner with roast beef and all the trimmings - no particular reason for this - just bought a really nice roast and felt like doing it up right.

Alexandra M wrima -- how did the visit go with daughter? Is your air cleaner now so you guys could enjoy the days?

Dana Jean Visit was great, air quality was bad (Extreme 10, whatever that is.) Anne seemed to have one asthma attack after the other.
She never saw the sun the entire 5 days she was here. Went out for lunch twice and did some serious retail therapy. I bought 2 (cotton) sundresses. Didn't think they even used cotton anymore, I was thrilled.

I'm so sorry the air quality wasn't better and I'm so sorry about the asthma. But yay on lunch and cotton sundresses! I love a good sundress.

Hope the air quality gets better soon. Always good to get out and find a new dress.

Completed my Economics exam last night. What a miserable course that was  The home page of the exam (it was electronically administered) said it it was "144 questions". What it didn't tell you is that several of the questions had multiple sub-questions. Some up to 6 steps. So it was actually more like 500 or so questions. Had 3 hours to complete. Not nearly enough time. This course may break the string of wicked smaaaht SwiftDog grades. Honestly, I don't care about getting an "A". I'll be happy to just pass this course.

Working today. On my lunch break. Having salad with grilled chicken. Eating healthy is a pain in the SwiftButt. I got the salad from the salad bar at the Whole Foods next to mo my condo complex. Only good thing about that place is that there are always a bunch of attractive women shopping there! Only probably is I have to be careful not to drool on the salad fixins' :D

I'm going to dinner with a couple of my SwiftCousins on Saturday. The three of us were pretty tight growing up. Always into some sort of trouble! They are more of brothers to me than SwiftBro (whom I really don't speak with) ever was. Our birthdays are all within a couple of weeks of each other so this is a group birthday celebration. They are both a couple of years older than me so I will get to remind them that no matter what, I'm always the young one :p

Starting my Managerial Accounting class on Monday. There is already a homework assignment due the first day of class. Unreal. Bonus, this class uses the same crappy on-line component as the last one :barf:

I'm also getting a go-fast upgrade to the SwiftMobile (my BMW) on Monday. Enhanced turbo boost and 35 more HP :onthego:
