Hold that memory close at heart!
He's so different than my son was at his age. Daniel was very quiet, he loved cartoons, but would usually just sit and watch them, fascinated. He was very independent as far as needing me or my at the time, wife, around. He's still like that at 14 years old. He's so low maintenance that it's sometimes scary. Not the three year old...lol, the more people that pay attention to him, the better. He will swing from the rafters if there's an audience to watch him. My father-in-law always tells my wife she has absolutely no right to complain because his wish has come true, that she have a child that acts just like she did when she was that age...lol. He always apologizes to me and tells me he's sorry I have to put up with both of them..lol

That is a precious story. Yep, payback for mom, and new experiences for you.

Good morning!

Another crazy busy week here. Had my blood drawn yesterday to check my thyroid levels on the higher dose of medicine. Anxious to see results. I am feeling better. More energy, less moodiness. Maybe a few pounds lost. Fingers crossed that I get to stay on this dose.

Errands to run today. Need to buy a new coffee pot, mine sputtered and coughed, then died this morning. :eek: Need groceries too.

Have a great day! Big hugs and positive vibes to all! :love_heart:
Good luck with that new medication and hoping for a positive result with your blood test.

Mine came back overall quite good except for low MCV count (GNTLGNT will probably know what that means). The doctor said it is not a big worry.

OOOOOhhh - here's a nice one and it's a Betty Crocker! Maybe it makes cookies to go with that coffee!
Have fun shopping :tickled_pink::shopping:

Oh, good lord. You can call that filling if you want to because that concoction is not something that belongs anywhere near a turkey. Stuffing and mashed potatoes are two entirely separate (and keep it that way!) things. Chestnuts and/or oysters are not something I would ever put in stuffing. :barf:

Never heard of mashed potatoes in dressing

I am trying to brainstorm ways to keep calm during Christmas as I am working at crate and barrel, and hoping to have a job offer after.... I suffer from anxiety and I am afraid I will tell off the wrong person or customer. And then I will be in a bad situation..... I do plan on doing my shopping on my few days off and eat and drink healthy..

Are you on any type of medication that might help to keep you calm while you work?

I know when I get a bit of anxiety I will take half a tablet of Ativan or lorazepam (it's the same thing but Ativan is the brand name and lorazepam is the generic name). I was prescribed 1 mg but the tablet has a little line in it so you can break it in half.

The only side effect is that you may feel a bit tired or sleepy but if you take the lower dose it's not as bad.

In remembrance of Stephen Hillenburg passing away, which I was really sad to hear about, we decided to watch some Spongbob episodes last night. My three year old stepson loves Spongebob and my 14 year old son grew up watching him too, so I have a lot of good memories of Spongebob. I always liked the fact the cartoon just seemed silly and had no real point, it reminded me of the old school cartoons that my fellow Generation X board members will remember and probably even GNT who may have watched a few in black and white back during the golden age of Television...lol

Anyway, we were watching one of the episodes last night and the my 3 year old stepson got up and ran to his room, retrieved his play sized guitar we bought him a few months ago never realizing how much noise it made. He then gave a concert during the next opening Spongebob episode intro sequence which included singing the Spongebob intro song as best he could. He doesn't exactly have all the words down...he actually doesn't have many of them down at all, and the guitar rifts he was playing didn't exactly match, but he gave it a very good try. We were cracking up pretty good which made him try all that much harder because the kid absolutely loves an audience....lol
....my TV was pictures drawn with crayon on construction paper, thumb-tacked to a wall you insensitive cretin!......
