North Carolina has become popular in recent years for people from Maine who've gotten tired of the winters here but still want the four seasons so have no interest in moving to Florida. This was me this morning - everyone was running late but me, so I'm in my jammies and socks searching the garage for something to put on my feets before I trudged out to the driveway to start the Ogre's SUV and our son's truck (like a good crazy woman).
