Friday through Monday, rushing around doing things I wouldn't be able to with my leg in a walking cast, Tuesday, having hardware removed from my left ankle and leg put in a walking cast, Wednesday, resting.
Having another blood transfusion done today.

Meeting my friend Kelly for our usual Wednesday coffee and then heading to work. We've been meeting for coffee on Wednesdays since our daughters were in 1st grade. They'll both graduate high school this year. Our coffee meetings have seen both of us through a divorce, our girls through several hardships at school, me through two job transitions, Kelly through one job transition, and helped us keep our sanity.
Today we have a salon meeting......my resignation is thus far still in the car.

Only ever been to one book signing... when I was young. It was for Anthony Burgess. I handed him my copy of The Clockwork Orange to sign. The first thing he did was tear out the Appendix that listed explanations of the Nadsat words and other terms he created in the book. Then he signed it. I thought if an author thinks he has the right to destroy my brand new book I’m never going to another book signing again… and I haven’t.
