obviously I was multitasking during the film.Big guy with a machete. That's the plot, right?
Either that or drinking heavily!!!obviously I was multitasking during the film.
I don't even remember the machete.
In trying really hard to think about this, all I remember is a food truck. Right? There was a food truck in the movie? and Machete's daughter ran it? is that right? and was bruce willis in this?Big guy with a machete. That's the plot, right?
...plot?....that’s a good’un.....Big guy with a machete. That's the plot, right?
...or a pig flying out of a certain posterior orifice....In trying really hard to think about this, all I remember is a food truck. Right? There was a food truck in the movie? and Machete's daughter ran it? is that right? and was bruce willis in this?
If I think really hard, I might remember a flying monkey with a rope in the conservatory playing a huge part.
The Dirt
I thought this was pretty entertaining. Summed up the book in the first 5 minutes. Done in the style of 80's movies, it's fun.
I swear hair bands were walking petri dishes of disease.
I do recommend the book first. It's very informative and honest.
I didn't know that. I haven't watched 11.22.63 so wasn't aware. The book was VERY entertaining and brutally honest. I liked the book better but the movie was pretty good. Did you notice Vince Neil was played by the same guy who played Lee Harvey Oswald in The Amazon.com series 11.22.63?

I believe every damn word of that book. And I thought the movie was fun. I liked the style they chose to do which is very reminiscent of 80s style movies: Have each member narrate things from their point of view.
I thought he looked familiar but couldn't place him. I was distracted by the guy playing Mick Mars, I finally had to look up where I knew him from and he was Ramsey on Game of Thrones. The book was VERY entertaining and brutally honest. Although as you saw, without Vince, the band tanked with fans.Definitely. The style they did the movie in was perfect for that time era. I watched it thinking it wouldn't be that great but they did include a lot of details from the book. Until I read the book, I honestly didn't know Sixx's heroin problem was that bad. I wasn't surprised...lol, but still wasn't aware. A very good example of how a band implodes from ego problems. There were, imho, the best 80's band as far as talent. Tommy Lee, Mick Mars, and Nikki Sixx are very good musicians and I never heard a Motley Crue song from any of their albums that didn't sound like the drums and bass were mixed at twice the volume of Neil's vocals. Bass and drums drove that band from its very inception. Motley Crue is one of those bands like AC/DC that don't sound good unless the volume is all the way up...lol.

I read from a couple of different sources that the death of Neil's daughter very much changed him at a core level and that he was very humbled by the other members accepting him back into the group.
I really need to read these books. I really need to watch this show.I thought he looked familiar but couldn't place him. I was distracted by the guy playing Mick Mars, I finally had to look up where I knew him from and he was Ramsey on Game of Thrones.
We saw them and they were awesome! Tommy Lee rotating around above, playing the drums was totally cool. He brought a woman up to ride with him during a solo. So awesome! This video, imho, showed Motley Crue at the top of their game. Wild Side was probably my favorite song they did. You may be cool, but it's hard to be as cool as Tommy Lee playing drums from a rotating carriage over the crowd..lol
They're one of the bands I never got a chance to see live but I'm betting they put on a good show.
