I've been away. What did I miss? All OK now, I hope!!Oh yeah, one of the officers who came to my house to check on me was impressed with my Stephen King bookshelf and while waiting for other police to finish checking everything out we had a conversation about our favorite King novels. He said his favorite books were Desperation and Pet Sematary along with the Dark Tower series
Does anyone else remember looking at toy catalogs when you’re a young child and daydreaming about all the new toys and wishing you could save up allowance for it? My dad is subscribed to LEGO’s catalog listing, so we still receive their monthly catalogs, I remember when I was like 9 my dad haven me all his old LEGO catalogs from the ‘80’s and ‘90’s and I remember looking at all the sets from a decade before I was born and thinking they were cool as hell. Wonder where that stack of old ‘80’s LEGO catalogs went
I did the same thing with Playboy magazines.I'll date myself. Sears used to have a Christmas Wish Book catalog. As a child I;d look and circle desired toys in hope Santa would see them.

My parents would make me write out what I wanted on a piece of paper and to draw stars by the names of toys I really wanted. They also took us to see mall Santa’s occasionally but there’s this place about two hours away from here that each December they do a big Christmas country fest and we usually go there a lot and see the Santa there (The line is long and Santa is dressed in a lone rangerish uniform and speaks in a thick southern accent, it’s about as corny as it sounds but it’s fun regardless) we used to go to it yearly, but then there was the ‘incident’ that happened one year that made us stop going regularly.I'll date myself. see it all on smart tvI'm not seeing a problem on my desktop.
Wouldn’t want to leave those just lying around, you have to hide them somewhere in a space your parents wouldn’t think to lookI did the same thing with Playboy magazines.
True that. But it never worked. All I ever got was a lump of coal for my efforts, but I figured I’d shoot for the stars as it didn’t either when I stuck a stamp on one of the pretty models in the Green Stamps Quick Saver Book.Wouldn’t want to leave those just lying around, you have to hide them somewhere in a space your parents wouldn’t think to look
Proof that natural selection works is hormone high teenage boys becoming increasingly strategic in hiding pornographic content from their parents as the decades go byTrue that. But it never worked.
