A lot of people talk about facepalms, figurative and literal. I never do this. If you touch your face too much, then your skin gets greasy and you could get acne, even as an adult. I'm usually the last person to adopt new slang or trends.
A lot of slang expressions rub me the wrong way. When people used to say "sweet" when talking about things other than food, it used to bug me. Then kids were using "bad" as a noun instead of an adjective. That drove me crazy. It just sounds weird. Some other people started using "adult" as a verb instead of a noun. And thanks to Facebook, "friend" is a verb.
I'm a very regimented individual, I know.
