Thanks! She's a little nervous because her permit expired on her birthday, and she is hoping she won't have to retake the written exam.
Really hope she passes.
My youngest didn’t want me teaching her how to drive. Her mother and grandfather did. She failed her driving test twice. Her third time was the day before her permit expired and a couple days before the test she finally allowed me to teach her. I took her to where the driving test was to be taken and we practiced driving everywhere I thought they would make her go. She passed. Do you think I’d get any thanks? Noooooooo!

Happy Anniversary Neesy! I'll have to marry that gal of mine one day. We've been together for about 35 years and missed out on a boatload of gifts. Damn!Missed being here yesterday. It was our 14th wedding anniversary so we went out to eat
Not much new here - gardening is going well.
This weekend they're having a Monarch butterfly festival at the Living Prairie Museum so I will try to get there for noon on Sunday as they will be giving away Swamp Milkweed plants.
I just notice I have two of them by the fence - wow I planted those last fall but did not think they would make it - it was great to see them again

Hi guys! I am so sorry that I have been off the grid for a while. I had to scale back on my screen time because of work. The good news is that I miss all of you. I am working at the International Institute of New England teaching beginner and intermediate ESOL (English for speakers of other languages. Alex is doing great! My 18 year old shipped off to basic training at Fort Benning a few weeks ago and I haven't heard from him
. I will try to be on more often since I have been told that the board will be closing next year...? I would still like to do the Halloween Story this year and go to the 2020 KON ! Where will it be?

My daughter's name is Emma! we talk on Facetime a lot, but we haven't seen each other in person yet. She is so beautiful and so understanding. She calls me for advice about boy problems, lol!

.....soooooo, I finally had a chance to speak with a delightful young lady at the Dodge City Visitor and Convention Bureau yesterday....she is putting together a tentative list of "things to do" next Summer.....I have chosen the weekend of July 17th-19th 2020.....lots of history, plenty of shopping, a distillery tour, possible paranormal hunt, Boothill Cemetery etc.......there is a nearby casino for those so inclined and she will also have a list of hotels and eatery's who will be vying to accommodate us.....will keep you posted as info arrives....
