In these parts, he/she who has the most money to get the most votes wins. We get some colorful characters as a result. Federal judges are appointed.
Board of Supervisors is where the real power is. They enact policies and resolutions, levy taxes and set budgets. They are regarded as the kings and queens. My oldest daughter is one where she lives.

Well, just woke up (3rd shift vampire sleep schedule, ya’unnerstan), dumped one sip of coffee on the tooth, immediately said, “aw HELL no”. Called my mouth croaker, got my appt. bumped up to tomorrow morning. Damn tootin. So...until then I be suckin on aspirins like Skoal Bandits.
Tooth pain is the worst! Feel better and sending some healing vibes along for tomorrow and the following few days!

Status report, i.e. tooth—to wit: still have the damn thing. Doc said he could keep shootin numb sauce into it all day and it still be just too painful to pull. After a single preliminary fingertip tap, I was inclined to agree. So its antibiotics for a week, and a measly handful of weak ‘Noverills’—whatever, it’s them antibods I was after.
Anyhoo...yep, Annie Wilkes, them Noverills are just now kickin in, Thankee Sai, old psycho. And some Chefflecchhs to battle infection, keep me on the beam, do yuh. Dad a chuk? I DONT REMEMBER ASKIN YOU A &#*$@!! THING, LOBSTO!
