Had an eventful few weeks.
The Sunday before Christmas my dishwasher decided to leak all over the floor of my kitchen and cause a nice little indoor rainstorm for my downstairs neighbor. Luckily the only damage down there was to an acoustic ceiling tile. I caught the leak early enough to avoid major issues. So, I got a new dishwasher and have to pay for my neighbor's new ceiling tile and cleanup. Fun! Not!
Then on the Saturday after Christmas I was eating some jelly beans (Very Cherry Jelly Belly's to be exact) when I bit down on something hard and crunchy. Turns out hard and crunchy object was one of my crowns. Luckily, I didn't swallow it. And there was no pain. Of course my dentist was out of the office on vacation until yesterday. So when I saw him yesterday it was determined that I need a root canal and a new crown
. BOO! They were able to use the old crown as a temporary until my root canal appointment in a couple weeks. Luckily, I have very good dental insurance so my out of pocket cost won't be too bad.
