Our school district is now closed until April 6th. They got permission to adjust the required number of school days so as of right now, end of year dates and graduation stays the same. Assuming large gatherings are permitted by then. I know it is a superficial thing but my heart hurts for all the seniors (my own senior included) who may not get that milestone moment of walking across a stage to get their diploma. Not to mention the $ spent on invitations, caps and gowns, etc. Again, I know it is one of those things I should not complain about. As long as we all stay healthy. That is what matters.

Our hospital has started a drive thru testing place as of yesterday but you have to have a referral from primary doctor or hospital hotline to utilize the testing. They conduct some kind of over the phone assessment first.

Up to 17 cases statewide but still none in my town or county. I expect that will change soon, now that testing is being done here.

Scott and I went after groceries. Got most of what we needed. Most people were courteous, I only witnessed one customer being rude to another customer. The cashiers were all smiley and friendly but looked so tired.

I hope we did not expose ourselves. I am very concerned about us, given how sick we have been all winter long. Trying not to stress and be overly scared but I really am very scared.

Big hugs and healthy, positive vibes to all. :love_heart:

Well, there is one good thing about Corona ...

NO EUROVISION SONG CONTEST!

Thank God for that!

Screw Eurovision! It doesn't even bother me the fact that they give the UK no points, because I don't define myself as a Brit, but come on, there wouldn't be any good music without the English, would there?

A coupon for an out of stock item you can redeem for the same price as when the item was out of stock
.....or......say you invite a friend to lunch, but they have another lunch date that they cannot reschedule, they will give you a "rain check" (a promise) to get together with you on another day. Term can be used formally in business or informally amongst friends, osnafrank . :)
Hope that helps some too.

Will hold her to positive vibes and safety. Can you video chat with her? How unsettling it must be for those in asst. lv or nursing/ rehab homes. Isolation prays on their minds and spirit.

Safety for mom. Does she have a window? Go set up a lawn chair outside her window and visit.
