Sitting alone at home feeling abandoned..... You, E.J, should be thankful that you're not alone even if you bicker with your brother. I want to go out and go drink a few beers and a have a meal with my friends now when the weather is absolutely smashing. But, of course, thats not really an option. OK, OK, i know. Be strong, i will but it certainly isn't easy.

I appreciate what you are saying, Kurben. But we've got different personalities, we get into fights even when their isn't a global pandemic going on. This has just amplified it. You are right though, I could be back in my university halls, with people I despised. So, there is that. But I will think of the people who are alone at the moment, yes, that would probably be worse. Then again ... there are a few Steve epics I could get into if I was alone? :)

Yeah, these alone times certainly must be toughest for those who are alone. Places like this must help somewhat, though.

There was a time, especially during winters in Maine, that I could be at home and not even go outside my own house for 4 days at a time and not think twice about it. But now, I'm getting cabin fever even though I go outside for about a 2 mile walk every day. Definitely will do my part to flatten the curve but it has surprised me how my attitude is different about staying inside. It could be that here I'm alone whereas at home I would at least have the company of my significant other in the house. I give us 2 weeks once I'm back home again before we start bickering. ;)

As for staying on after June 30, that departure date is pretty much written in stone at this point. :)

Now might be a good point to finally star The Stand book. My only real history with The Stand is that nineties mini-series.
If you haven't read it definitely. Do you intend to read the abridged original version or the extended version that Steve published when he was so big no one could tell him to make cuts because its too long? Go with the extended version, you get fuller characters. Thats my advice anyway. But it is way over 1000 pages....
