What Eric is really like.
Club Ninja gets too much hate, it has some really good songs. Although Beat Em Up and Make Rock not War are iffy, the latter has a nice tune but the lyrics are too on the nose. Beat Em Up and White Flags are actually covers. Dancing in the Ruins, Madness to the Method, Perfect Water, and Spy in the House of the Night are all classics. The Revolution by Night was really the iffier album, although Let Go is a guilty pleasure, talk about Self Promotion lol.

But even then RBN still had some legitimately good songs. Shooting Shark, Take Me Away, Light Years of Love, and Dragon Lady are all excellent.

HAHAHAHAHAHA :) There are quite a few BOC albums I dont own, simply because you cant get them in the UK, I guess if I had Spotify I could but I'm not really a streamer. I haven't heard much of Club Ninja. I've got all the seventies and early eighties albums but after that, eh, a few good songs here and there, I haven't really listened to them though. I will be getting the new album though.

I did not like their last album that much at all. I've made some rankings of their albums before but it changes. Spectres, FUO, ST, and Self Titled are my top 4 though.

I recommend Spotify, they do not have their last 2 studio and last live album though. They do however have newer releases after those. It's because the record label they had on those albums went bankrupt, meaning the albums are out of print and it's a licensing hell. Spotify has pretty much everything though, although every artist from a record label that went bankrupt in the 70s were on there but magically disappeared, all unknown bands, but some good ones.

Never thought I'd see the day when you could walk into a store and buy pot, but you have to meet your hairstylist in a dark alley with unmarked bills to get a haircut.......
Aren’t they planning to open hair salons soon?
I might be wrong but I thought I saw something on the news about it recently

Not in North Carolina. The stay at home order was extended through May 8th. Then, If they think that the number of new cases is going down, we can begin phase 1 of reopening. Phase 1 will include retail businesses that are able to maintain proper physical distancing protocols, and opening restaurants at less than half capacity. They will evaluate again two to three weeks after phase 1, and if they like the numbers, we can begin phase 2 of reopening the state. Phase 2 will include salons, spas, gyms, etc with restrictions to capacity and physical distancing. Then, 4 to 6 weeks after phase 2, they will evaluate again and see if we can go to phase 3, which would include reopening the entire state.
Taking that into consideration, the earliest I can go back to work would be May 22nd.

Question for Moderator or anyone who knows.
Whenever soemone comes on the site saying they have mail for Steve, Marsha will usually give them an address to send it to, Steve's office. What happens from there? Is it just put in a room somewhere, because, as noted, Steve does not respond to fan mail. I was jsut wondering what actually happens to it.

I don't want to know the answer to this "la, la, la, la... I can't hear you..."

[inward dialogue] 'It's okay Flakers... he LOVED your gifts, he cherishes them and takes them out to play with daily. All is well in the world, dum-de-do, tra, la, la...'

Just don't ask what happened to your Ringo Starr fan mail after October 20th, 2008.
