The cult singer/songwriter. Subject of a great documentary "The Devil and Daniel Johnston." Suffered from various mental illness but was an inspiration to many other artists including Bowie and Cobain. Only 58. Some really great songs if you have never heard of him (some really awful ones...
Author of the Inspector Montalbano novels has died at 93. These are an outstanding detective series filled with humor and great characters. Many have been translated to English and there are several more left to go.
Moving on to IT. Another iconic book that would be hard to imagine with another name but here goes:
1) The Losers Club
2) Pennywise the (dancing) Clown
3) The Barrens
I thought I would try my hand at picking an alternative title for each book. The Stand is iconic so it's hard to think of it with another title but I would go with "Captain Trips."
This is a weird show on HBO that has some potential. Each episode is set in the same hotel room with a different cast each week. It has some horror, comedy, drama elements. A bit like the Twilight Zone.

These Martin and Munoz snow globes are very cool. Puts me in mind of Charles Addams, Edward Hopper, or King. Pricey though if you can even find one.
Snow globes filled with sinister scenes of people in peril|Dangerous Minds

Just wondering if Hulu intends to auction off any of the props from the show? Maybe for charity. Given how well everything associated with King is selling it might raise some money for a good cause. There were some pretty cool 60s stuff. For example, I was shocked that they found a near...
Hall of fame basketball player from the days of yore. Nate "the great." He was a warrior both literally and figuratively with the Golden State Warriors.
I see this more and more. People driving through a gas station smoking a cigarette or smoking one as they walk into the store. Incredibly dangerous. It's a miracle one doesn't blow up every day. The attendants don't seem to care though.
