Oh those poor boys. Our team lost 15-48. The wide receiver for the other team is rumored to have a scholarship in the bag with Oregon - he was bada$$. I watched the last quarter and then herded the kids out. Have you been to a high school football game lately? Madness, chaos, teenagers everywhere. 3 days off--so happy! Then, Tuesday, we're going into a 4-day week! Unfortunately, no more holidays until November!
That's right - next week's a bonus because it's short. We get a fall break the second week of October - the whole week, which is nice but honestly, I'd give that up for a longer summer - I wish our schools didn't start until after Labor Day. We started Aug. 10th.
