Anytime you suffer head trauma, you should get checked out and /or keep and eye on your condition. I know someone that fell off a bike and hit his head and seemed fine. He actually went to the hospital and got checked out and they released him and said he was ok. About a week or so later, his wife noticed him shuffling when he was walking and got him back to the hospital. Turns out he had bleeding and swelling going on and they had to operate on him. Something went wrong during the surgery and he ended up in a medically induced coma for a while. Finally they got him fixed up but he was a few months getting over all of that.

...he has had a couple of health issues in the last few months, but seems to face them with the same aplomb that he manages his hosting duties....very charming man, and one with the gift of subtle snark when it's appropriate....
