He sure got the winter prairie down. I could hear the wind and feel the cold. Great story.
This story is a great example of how to mix humor and melancholy. A little gem.
One of my favorite SK short stories. I love how the ending leaves you wondering what the outcome was. Although, I *do* blame this story for sticking the phrase "Poopy Doopy you so loopy!" in my head. It pops up and the most random times.
I laughed all way through this one,some of those sayings were hilarious
...I hope the poor bastard wrote his book, I often find myself sat by the fence of farmer johns east field,with my finger hovering over that 'delete file' button.
I like to think he had a happy ending...
