Amazon Prime Day

Did anyone take advantage of what Amazon was offering? I bought one thing. One. Lousy. Thing. None of the prices of items on my wish list went down lower except for the one thing that I bought. Same as last year. And you just know that it'll take them a week just to get to my order due to the volume of sales. I don't get what all the hype is about......

Well, one of my watched items went on a 'lightening' deal so I had to buy it.

Prime Day is mostly a bunch of hype.

I got some smart bulbs, a smart plug, a Samsung tablet to use at work instead of always using my cell phone, and a fitbit.

I agree about the hype. I was looking for certain specific things that happened to be offered at a good deal. Unless you have specific things in mind, I think a person could get sideways in a hurry buying random stuff just because it's ''on sale''.

I don't use the Whole Foods delivery service. I usually only go in there for lunch. Their salad bar is good and I'll occasionally get a sandwich from the deli counter. Everything is way more expensive than it needs to be in there. If I did my weekly grocery shopping there I'd be completely broke

I am definitely not an earthy, crunchy, Non-GMO, all organic kinda dude. I go there for lunch occasionally as it's within walking distance of SwiftDog Manor.

What is a smart plug? When you try to plug it in wrong, it says "no dumb ass, turn it around."

It's an outlet that you can use to have Alexa turn on the Christmas tree, or a lamp, or what ever you plug into it. I'm gonna use it for the Christmas tree because I have the smart light bulbs for all the lights.....I'm getting lazy in my old age
