There are recordings from all kinds of music which I love. I like some of the old banjo pickers, but certain tunes, not in general. I hold Blue Grass in high regard, though.

Growing up I never missed a Journey concert.. or Metallica (and still go to Metallica)

I mostly listen to classic rock, 80s hits, "hair bands", classical, show tunes/soundtracks and a small amount of current "pop".
I dislike country, rap, jazz and I despise boy bands.

How do you feel about these older rock groups going on concert tours with replaced members?
It depends on how many are replaced and exactly who is replaced. One time I took my oldest son to see my beloved Journey.. and Steve Perry was replaced before I knew it. I was highly pissed off!!

If they insist on an artist point (meaning that their goal is to deliver a reasonable fax of the original) I'm glad to see then onstage - evidence of the music not dying - instead of for instance seeing the individual members selling cars or becoming politicians.

no.. I think it's awesome they still 'got it'
