I did recently. I had my mother to go buy and get me the new Stephen King Bazaar book for a christmas present for me. She knows im a Stephen King fan anyway and around this time anyway, my mother she gets us older grown kids at least one or two presents for Christmas.

Im just way too busy with Star Wars novels, Dune: Chapterhouse, the hardcover of Stephen King's Revival I still need to read sometime.

That and books 3, 4 and still the hardcover of Dance with Dragons of George Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series.

Plus recently this year during the summer, ive bought a few of the Wheel of Time books.

I've only received a new SK book as a gift once in my life. On a positive note, I get to buy them for myself on the release day (for the past two years anyway). So, if you have to wait, it's a blessing to have loved ones who want to give you the perfect gift. If you don't have those kind of people in your life, hopefully you can afford to buy them for yourself. And if not, thank God for libraries! :)

Like most of you, am usually reserved for a copy so it gets there asap, but busy reading some other things right now,so am thinking it will be a SK December for me..truly anticipating and savoring the books I get usually only happens about four times a year, the SK ones and John Sandford's releases,so the wait is good..staying away from reviews and discussions on the stories! ;)

Always try for release day. But sometimes very hard to find around here. Gotten a few as a gift and usually a big surprise. Always a surprise to open the mailbox and find someone has thought of you. Even used books . reading BOBD now But always put King on my Christmas list.
