Anyone else wonder what Derry looked like to someone with "The Shining"?

I just recently relistened to the audiobook and was reminded of Dick Halloran's time in Derry during the fire at the Black Spot.

That made me wonder if there would be a story in and of itself in whatever, if anything, Halloran saw while he was stationed there.

Just thought it would be interesting to find out.
