My second-to-last bike was a Honda 750 Nighthawk. Black. It was what you're talking about. Not heavy, but big enough. Plenty of power for the highway, but still nimble. Good for a short outing or a quick trip for groceries or an extra hour on a Saturday morning. I had my "dream bike" with the ST1300, but if I get back on two wheels again, it'll be on something closer to that basic 750 Honda.
So, you had my dream bike...when?

Which one? The Nighthawk 750 or the ST1300?

I got the ST1300 new - I think I got the 2005 model in 2006. I sold it in 2011, after the heart attack. One didn't have anything to do with the other, except it was an expensive heart attack, and it didn't make sense to hang on to the bike at that point. Tough year.

I had the Nighthawk, also new, from 2001-2006, I'm thinking. I traded it in for the ST1300.

When I get home, I'll see if there are pictures to post.
