A general question....favorite board game?

Not exactly a board game, but a table game - Bananagrams. We always play at holidays, we have to use a couple of bananas though. Have you ever played it?

I also like Rook - we used to play with a group of couples but then we all started having more babies and it kind of disbursed. No fun playing grown up games with screaming nursing babbies at the table.

I'll 3rd the Labryinth (but it is a muppet).

Did anyone watch the new Muppet show Tuesday? I didn't. I'm wondering if I should. I loved them back in the day.

...people are actually tripping because classic cartoon characters don't wear clothes?

What're they gonna do next, sew little pants onto field mice?

I came in wanting to like this show because, like you, I loved them in prime time way back when we were all young with the world. It was an interesting approach that I think will work. If you loved Garry Shandling in The Larry Sanders Show, you'll love this. It's a direct rip-off of the format . . . complete with walk-and-talks. I was waiting for Fozzy Bear to start interjecting "Hey now!" after all the jokes.

I'll say it was okay, although I'm still not sure how I feel about muppets with legs.

It just seems wrong somehow.

You know . . . it's a funny thing about pants on characters.

I don't remember where I first heard this bit, but somebody used to tell the joke about how Donald Duck -- in the normal course of his day -- does not wear pants. But, when he takes a bath and gets out of the tub, he wraps a towel around himself for modesty's sake.

And don't get me started on Slowpoke Rodriguez.
