Thought my fellow King fans might appreciate this beautiful picture of the aurora borealis over Acadia National Park in Maine, taken just last Friday. Did any of our Maine residents manage to see this in person?

JoJo, keep checking the news around the time that you're traveling for word on sun storms and sun flares. When those happen, the aurora makes its appearance. So beautiful. I have never seen them. Hopefully if we head to north Finland next Feb or March I get a chance to see or
not. We don't see them here where I live or at least not yet.
Damn angels, dammit!!!Stunning! Darn...angels messed it up...was scheduled for Uncle Steves birthday.

Actually I wish I could, but I am in the city of Winnipeg so the city lights would obscure them. I did see some up near Gimli and Hecla Island which is north of Winnipeg and more isolated. That is one of my life long ambitions, to witness this beautiful phenomenon in person. I'm am so jealous of people who live in or near the arctic circle. I bet Neesy can look out of her bedroom window and see them all the time in winter over in Manitoba.
