Hey!
Was just asking about you. Hadn't seen you in a while. Coconut oil and baking soda you say? If you have enough you could use those ingredients to bake Giant some cookies.
I do too. I totally believe chemical deoderants are a link to breast cancer. Just me folks, but I believe it.
It seems to me that the regular products are made to make one smell after a short time. But why isn't that surprising. It's the aluminum( hydroxide and zirconium) plus paragons, propylene glycol and preservitives. If you search nature health food stores there are some safe products available, but homemade is best.
I like that! So it's okay that I say you used to be a man?On a cross country Greyhound trip, a woman with the worst body odor EVER got on, scanned the bus and asked if she could sit next to me. I asked her "Do you mind that I used to be a man?" She kept walking.
Sure. I kinda like the notion. It adds an interesting element to my otherwise unremarkable life's history.I like that! So it's okay that I say you used to be a man?
To smell oneself is human. To lick oneself is divine.
You know LL, your "unremarkable" could be my "holy cow".Sure. I kinda like the notion. It adds an interesting element to my otherwise unremarkable life's history.
I'm really not sure what to make of that, blunt. To smell oneself is human. To lick oneself is divine.
I definitely wouldn't overthink it.I'm really not sure what to make of that, blunt.
It really fires off the synapses in my fevered mind...best to back away.I definitely wouldn't overthink it.

A video. Make a video. That bad boy would go VIRAL!I'm really not sure what to make of that, blunt.
Please forgive me.I read an article somewhere once which spoke to the difference between body odor types caused by normal sweating, b.o. caused by bacterial growth, and that caused by emotional stress (nervous sweating). The article helped me understand an issue I'd had during a while in high school. No matter that I showered everyday and didn't become sweaty from exertion or excessive heat, I would sweat due to nervousness. I think the nervousness was due to the alienating feelings of assumed inadequacy. The article I'd read said that nervous sweat includes a chemical or chemical compounds not present in normal, heat produced sweat, and that those chemicals yield a strong, offensive odor.
Realizing that I was likely to start stinking as soon as or before I got to school would cause me to start stinking. Everyday it was as if I was cursed. I suppose I was. No amount or brand of deodorant, at the time, made any difference at all. Wikipedia mentions that certain glands begin functioning at puberty. I know now that that's what was happening to me. It continued but to a lesser degree for a long time. Curiously, it happened much more on the right side of my body. The sweat would ruin shirts. When the cloth dried it was stiff, stained yellowishly, and stank, even after being washed.
It doesn't seem to happen anymore. I imagine I'm not the only person having been cursed in this way. This thread caused me to remember about it. I don't know if there are products available nowadays which weren't then. I hope there are for any teens who have the problem.
