Excellent!
I went on their website and they have a color that will help me keep my color *fresh* . (Red washes out much too quickly.)
Thank you!
Peace.
Sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners save and extend your color. I'm tellin' ya, they're worth every penny.I got a piece of advice from my last stylist about reds that I didn't know: always use a good color saver shampoo and never use hot water on your hair.
Dr. Oz says mosquitoes hate grapes, so don't offer them any.
Foot binding? I think they used to do that in China???Just saw this tip...when wearing high heels, tape your third and fourth toes together, counting from the big toe, with medical tape (or even scotch tape is supposed to work). It supposedly prevents the nerves from becoming painful. I'll have to try this sometime-hardly ever wear heels anymore because they hurt!
I go to the hairdresser for roots (dying them, that is) and they charge outrageous prices. Last time I went there I asked for highlights and she ended up totally drying out my hair. So maybe I will look into getting some of this and save myself 100.00 dollarsExcellent!

I haven't, but I have ordered little grab bags of samples from Sephora. I got their summer kit this year and it is filled with some really great products that I might not normally have tried. (although all of them are filled with chemicals.)Has anyone ever signed up for those free samples in the mail? IF so, did they send good stuff?
I am not sure where you got your information about Avon - are you absolutely sure of this? (because I DO use Avon products and I am not too keen on losing either one of my breasts to cancer) - yikes!I haven't, but I have ordered little grab bags of samples from Sephora. Not to sound like a b*tch, but... First of all, my mom died from breast cancer so since then, I have been more vigilant about what I put in and on my body chemical wise. Sugar is my nemesis.
Anyway, it drives me nuts to give any money to the two big fund raising giants in this field. The AVON walk for breast cancer. This drives me nuts that thousands and thousands of women walk in this, donate their money and AVON is using chemicals in their make-up CAUSING breast cancer.
Then, The Susan G. Komen people -- they supposedly took a million dollars of donations to fight in court other people's use of "for the cure." I think the main one was Cupcakes for the cure -- a fundraising thing involving cupcakes obviously.
This arrogant lawsuit pissed me off because, why can't people use FOR THE CURE? Really? you are so full of yourself that you can't look at something you started as a good thing that is spreading the word and raising money?
Sorry, sort of went off on a side road there.
Have you noticed your knuckles getting darker? This is not dirt. Check out this link. Lightening those knuckles makes your hands more feminine and younger looking.

Most make-up contains fragrances and all sorts of artificial things that cause cancer. Of course they won't say that it does, just do some research on these chemicals yourself. Take some of your Avon make up, look at the label and start looking up those individual ingredients and see what it says.I am not sure where you got your information about Avon - are you absolutely sure of this? I have not worn makeup much recently but I use their body washes, bath products, skin cleansers etc. (Plus I buy the acne fighting face cleanser for my son). I will have a look - thanks! Most make-up contains fragrances and all sorts of artificial things that cause cancer. I wear make-up on occasion. I always feel like I'm playing with fire.
Companies are trying to do better, but just check the products you use. You may find they are just fine. And if not, you can make an educated choice about using them or finding safer ones.I have not worn makeup much recently but I use their body washes, bath products, skin cleansers etc. (Plus I buy the acne fighting face cleanser for my son). This was cute!
Oh my 80s hair. Yes, I hot rolled mine, sprayed AquaNet Extra Super Hold (white can, pink letters) on the rollers. Then used a pick to fluff the curls and hold the hair up high while I sprayed and blow dried my rooster bangs to a mountainous height. I drove a Ford Pinto and the top of my hair brushed the roof of my car. I'll have to see if I can find a picture.
And yes, Magic Cream to keep the forest tame - don't kill all the shrubbery.
My daughter does this. And she never wears matching socks. Kids have WAY too much time on their hands >.<I have noticed the new thing is to paint your fingernails each a different color. I do not know that I would have the patience to do this. I appreciate the artistic endeavor.
