Did I really write "fridge"?
I have blonde brows too, but the hairs grow out and they're so thick I could hang a sign from it.My eyebrows are blonde. If I do not use blonde eye pencil-no one sees my eyebrows.
All oil has certain properties in common, but olive oil is actually full of antioxidants. I like it on my skin too, although I am pretty bad about doing anything consistently. I think we tend to overlook olive oil or not think of it as special because we pretty much all have it in our kitchen, but yeah, it's great stuff.I use a mixture of 3:1 olive oil/castor oil to clean my face and then just use a tiny amount of olive oil as moisturizer. Sounds weird, but my skin has never looked better. I've been doing this for about 2 years. Cheap & easy - I just mix it up in a travel shampoo dispenser, put it on my face first thing when I get in the shower, let the steam work it's magic, wipe it off and splash with cold water. Disclosure: it doesn't make me beautiful, but it does give me good skin.

I use this every couple of nights now... because of Holly's post. My skin feels so much softer, it was a great tip!All oil has certain properties in common, but olive oil is actually full of antioxidants. I use olive oil, grapeseed oil or coconut oil (unrefined) interchangeably-whatever I have on hand. I love using the coconut oil because it smells so good. Probably wouldn't be the same for those who hate coconut!I use this every couple of nights now... because of Holly's post. My skin feels so much softer, it was a great tip!
I had a little squirty thing of some serum or other ... when I emptied it out, I put olive oil in it and use it occasionally. I think I'll move it into the shower.I use this every couple of nights now... because of Holly's post. My skin feels so much softer, it was a great tip!
I like the smell of coconut oil, maybe I'll get some of this sometime. I had been (sometimes I just make more work for myself ) leaving it until the last thing at night before bed (not even the cats are awake at this time at my place) and applying it (after washing my face)... standing on a kitchen chair because it's in a top cupboard.I had a little squirty thing of some serum or other ... when I emptied it out, I put olive oil in it and use it occasionally. I use an organic coconut oil as my night time moisturizer for all over my body and the night before I wash my hair I saturate it with coconut oil as well. It is easy to wash out and leaves your hair super soft.I was looking at popcorn recipes and wondered why so many recipes listed coconut oil as an ingredient as I'd always thought it was one of the "bad" fats. So I searched coconut oil on amazon to read reviews. I was surprised to discover reviewers rated coconut oil as a 5-star skin and hair moisturizer rather than a cooking ingredient. Have any of y'all tried coconut oil as a moisturizer?
I need to try coconut oil in my hair too! My mom has been using it in her hair for years.I use an organic coconut oil as my night time moisturizer for all over my body and the night before I wash my hair I saturate it with coconut oil as well. It is easy to wash out and leaves your hair super soft.
It is true, it is just an oil but if you put olive oil or baby oil in your hair you really have to shampoo it before you get it wet...otherwise, water proof hair and it take ages to come out...not the same with coconut oil, you can wet it and then shampoo and it is all goodCoconut oil is really trendy right now. Hell, according to the internet it will probably stop potential world wars and cure cancer. It's an oil, just like every other. It'll do the job to moisturize skin. I was just re-reading The Handmaid's Tale & she saved her butter pats from dinner to use as lotion--lol.

I am totally going to try this. I have sensitive skin and I can't use a lot of scrubs...so thanks for thisYou can make your own with kosher salt, almond oil, olive oil, and essential oils (I love peppermint in a salt scrub). The oils won't make you break out because the scrub is mainly salt.
"Blend, blend, bleeeeeend." (Have you seen Edward Scissorhands?)I am so 'bad that oils, creams and aftershave refuse to stick to my skin!
